Finally! We come to some of the dinners we had in New York City.
To usher in the much anticipated Good Food Month, Citi hosted a Movable Feast – showcasing a few of their 61-partnered restaurants; each course is set at a different restaurant.
Sometimes it’s hard to decide where to go to eat (some days are harder for some reason) and it took a couple of days, but Team QDIT finally settled on The Welcome Hotel in Rozelle. We realised we were in the mood for Italian and the menu sounded really delicious.
Earlier this year, Team DET and I had one of our catch-ups at Méjico. I don’t know why I never noticed it before, but I’m going to blame on being distracted by the long lines outside Jamie Oliver’s Italian.
We were lucky enough to go on a fantastic three-day feast bonanza tour of Kangaroo Island organised by the South Australian Tourism Committee. We even got to nose about McLaren Vale for a bit before heading to the island, squeezing in two wineries as well as lunching at one of them.
