Our top chocolate desserts, Cadbury bar of plenty & win $50 worth of Cadbury chocolate

This post is sponsored by Nuffnang  and Cadbury.

Everyone has their weaknesses. Whether it be the inability to drive or the lack of confidence to speak in public, we all have our weaknesses. For some people, even chocolate can be a weakness. For me, hot chips seems to be my weakness. Whether it be KFC or McDonalds, I can’t say no. But anyway, that’s another blog post and discussion altogether.

I’ll cut to the chase. For those who love all things chocolate, Cadbury is releasing a new range of chocolate called the Cadbury Bar of Plenty. In a nutshell, it’s more than just a chocolate bar :

  • New Bar of Plenty combines interesting combinations of naturally delicious ingredients, all covered in smooth and creamy Cadbury Dairly Milk milk chocolate.
  • Available in two different flavours : Oven Roasted hazelnut and cashews gently flavoured with honey & summer berries and crunchy vanially shortcake.
  • Available in local Coles, Woolworths, IGA and other select outlets.

Now, we thought it would be a good idea to tie in a giveaway with our top 5 chocolate desserts which we have experienced in Sydney. It’s a tough ask to come up with a creative dessert with chocolate, because I wouldn’t want to mess too much with it since it is amazing on it’s own. We’ve been to some pretty good restaurants in Sydney, they are up there with the best I’ve had in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. Check out what we think are the best of the best, so far in Sydney. Also check out the bottom of this post for details on how to win $50 worth of Cadbury chocolate delivered to your doorstep!

Why am I in love with chocolate? Why because the taste is so satisfying,no two bars are exactly the same. The taste of chocolate last so much longer on my lips than any other food I have eaten. Its comforting to taste something creamy and sweet and that is what chocolate can do for you!!! Yum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in love with chocolate because chocolate is in love with me. We are inseparable. I care for my chocolate, with its special place in the pantry, and the chocolate cares for me by providing all my emotional, mental, physical and spiritual needs. Chocolate will come find me in my times of greatest need. I love chocolate and chocolate loves me.

Chocolate and I have a love affair, the silky sensation, the intensely alluring aroma, and it’s the best for stress theraphy. There is simply no substitute for chocolates!

White chocolates, milk chocolates, dark chocolates, cocoa powder – I am THE chocolate addict. Give me melted chocolate in a shot, I will down it in one second, no hesitation, no sipping required.

Ok, so the question is why am I in love with chocolate? I have a very sweet tooth, I prefer sweets over savoury, I have a second stomach when chocolate desserts arrive at the end of a meal. When I was younger, I only ever liked milk or white, in fact white chocolate was my favourite. Having grown (just a little) older, my palette has changed and I have developed a deep appreciation for dark chocolates.

No, I don’t have Monday-itis, I have something called a 3′oclock-itis. When it’s 3pm at work, I will open my drawer and grab some chocolates (think: chocolate with almonds / macadamias / cashews or chocolate candy bars), to satisfy my hunger for sweets. Come that time of the month, I can go through half a block of chocolate a day!

Need I say, I am the chocolate Queen……?

Always there for me when I’m sad, happy or feeling slack,
Never going off at me, my curves it adores,
Chocolate is perfect, it has no flaws!

I’m in love with chocolate because its like a foodgasmic symphony in my mouth. The rich texture and flavours are so harmonious, its drool worthy. Chocolate allows me to lose myself in the moment where all my senses are heightened and all emotions are void. Chocolate such a wondrous creation. Thats why i love chocolate

I am in love with chocolate because in the past it was considered to give you wisdom. So my theory is that the more you eat the smarter you get. I must be the most intelligent person on this planet then!

PS I can’t get that chocolate yet here, the nearest supermarket is a 1000km round trip. So will need to virtually drool over it till I can get some

Chocolate has never let me down. It has stood by me when the chips were down, my back against the wall, when life was being sucked out of me. Chocolate gave me strength, the will to go on, determined to achieve. No chocolate would ever be left behind in this girl’s army.

    Je t’aime, chocolat. Toujours.

This is my idea of Heaven! I love chocolate because it makes you feel good. One bite of a good chocolate bar and suddenly things don’t seem as bad as they did.

We started eatshowandtell in 2008, it was meant to be just a journal of where we ate. The first thing I usually do when I'm looking for a restaurant is check out eatability and the restaurant website. But what is usually missing is pictures of the food, how do I know I'm getting what I expect? This blog hopefully plugs that gap.
