@Abercrombie : Believe me, looks even better IRL! The daylight made it even better too.
@Helen : lol paintbrush! that would of been interesting, would not of been surprised at all if he came up with that idea.
@mademoiselle délicieuse : Singapore is quite close, plan a holiday! The food is pretty good there, it’s getting up there. Tet’s is opening a restaurant there soon.
@Leona : Chomp exists, I have a whole box
@Betty : Sure is, some would say it is overboard but I thought it was excellent.
@Y : Thanks, I think the sunlight did me a favour for the photos.
@Suze : 7th Avenue ? Never heard of it !
@Belle : It sure was, very relaxing I must say. 70 levels up and it felt like we were away from the hustle and heat of Singapore
@Camp : Defo yummo, best meal I’ve had all year and I’ve been to a few degusts here in Syd!
@Steph : I’m glad people agree with my choc bar list, some people gasped when I mentioned chomp.
@Billy : Yeah people keep telling me $47 is a steal, I’m not sure what the going rate for 3 course lunch is but gobsmack’d says Marque is $60 so it’s quite a big jump!
@Gobsmack’d : That makes me feel better , I’ll have to give Marque a try as I read in Good Living they have a pretty good set lunch.

Howard, I do understand when you say you don’t often spend $47 on lunches. However, I do know for a fact that you won’t find anything on par here in Sydney for that price. I have had the pleasure of having lunch at Marque, which costs $60 and although I have always loved Mark Best’s food (and service), I must say judging from the pictures and your comments, Jaan beats Marque hands down. $47 for that sort of lunch (in an expensive nation like Spore) is a steal.

sigh…. i just consumed again with my eyes…. the Panache de Fruit de Mer looks almost like an aquarium with anemone with the octopus sitting on top, so lively! Mmm…. come again, $47 for this meal? I think is a steal!

Holy cow, that is stunning! The super thin breadsticks are a revelation, I hope more places do stuff like that rather than a hunk of bread! Yes to your chocolate bar list!!

oh my freaking god! finally catching up on everyones posts and this is the first one i read! Smokes, i never thought spore had fancy dishes like this! that I love the photo of the armesan & squid ink. It looks so fragile and delicate almost like something youd display around the house only to realise its actually edible.

OMG you like chomp chocolates?? do they still exist? I havent eaten one of those in years.
