Oooh I’ve tried some of those dishes and they are wonderful! I love the presentation too especially the painting with the paintbrush and the mason jar for the potatoes!

Helen (Grab Your Fork): I thought the whole paintbrush idea was pretty awesome actually! Glad to see that I’m not the only one hehe. *embarrassed* Yeah, sorry… We didn’t get around to asking the waiters what it was again.

abercrombie: Hehe definitely! Yeah that oyster – so surprising! ^_^ Never did think that we would ever like oysters!

Betty: ^_^ It was… I was surprised actually, because I’ve heard that Becasse is hit-or-miss when some of the ESTers went.

campgrenada: Yeah, I heard from other people that their service was really slow when they went for a 3-course meal that took almost 2 hours! O_O I was really surprised. I wonder why that is…

What an amazing concept, to highlight those dishes from the masters of French cuisine (sounds like something out of Iron Chef!). Your descriptions of the dishes are great, too (‘tasting of the sea’ – fab!).

I wish their normal degustation is like that! I enjoyed their degustation last month but their service was deplorably slow, seeing we weren’t drinking alcohol.

omg that Louise XV chocolate praline is the best dessert you will EVER TRY! sooo simple.. but the flavours/textures speak in volumes..

and the oysters and pearls.. WOW!
i like the play on finding pearls in oysters and that whole jazz
