Yas: Check Etch's website before you go - I think they changed their menu recently and I'm not sure if the burger is still on there. I adore their decor! =D Belle@OohLook: Hehe definitely... Steph: Everything was just so pretty! =)) Such an experience. Bahaha I want that clock too =P Betty: LOL omg, we ate so much... it was crazy. I don't know how we did it. Went there last night and it was great! Especially the desserts! My partner had the chocolate chequerboard with mint ice cream (which he can’t stop raving about!), and there were so many textures of chocolate it reminded me of Aria’s famous chocolate dessert (as seen on MasterChef). The chequerboard was alternating squares of chocolate cake and mousse (brilliantly done), and the other components consisted of: a block of dark chocolate, chocolate sauce smeared across the plate, a chocolate and honeycomb crisp, some sort of clear toffee ‘cigar’, and a delightful garden mint ice cream. I don’t like mint ice cream but this tasted so fresh and different; it is definitely a must-try!! Love the room’s decor too, and the service was very accommodating. Fantastic.

LOOOOOOOOVED the food here…

particularly liked how it was casual fine dining.. and indeed it was
comfort food served in a fancy manner

that sweet paprika mayo.. nom nom nommm! will be trying to replicate that

Thanks for another brilliant review (you got some great dishes!). I always look at the desserts first, and judging by that famous lolly tray, I’ll make sure to leave room for it on my next visit to Etch.

Etch is yet another place I’ve been dying to go!
Maybe I should revisit Plan B for a wagyu burger before visiting Etch for comparison. Ahh the restaurant theme just looks pretty *sigh*
