I’ve been here once, & loved it! Would be my top fav for spanish food (next to maybe captain torres)

you must try the el bulli potato bravas – or something like that. it’s a house special, potato cubes boiled, panfried then coated in this luxurious creamy mayo-ish sauce

thats actually the only plate i remember eating hehe & LOVE the complimentary bread with aoili dip!

Did you try the white sangria?? thats a must!! i think they have two types.

Y: Thanks! The interior has a nice rustic feel. Kinda felt like I was in a dungeon actually!

Simon: The paella was GOOD! Couldn’t believe that was actually quite a lot of ingredients! And I only realised there was one in Randwick when I went to their website. Always thought there was only one restaurant too!

shez: It’s a great place for a rowdy night because it buzzing with people and feels ok to be quite loud and have an enjoyable night.

Betty: I did find the food a little salty (did I mention that in my post?). My family found the chorizo really salty, luckily there was the paella to balance the flavours out!

Arwen from Hoglet K: mmmm I love all types of mushrooms (as I said in my Jugemu and Shimbashi post). Mistaken dish = great choice!

Simon Food Favourites: I think it’s the same one in Randwick that you are talking about. Not sure if the quality is the same though! Although the tapas were a little pricey, I’ve found that most other spanish tapas are around the same price range too?

Belle@OohLook: The place looked awesome, buzzing with people, which means… great place to go! Paella was mmm *tops!*

sydneyguyrojoe: Not sure if they have a service charge for large groups of people. Book again for the next birthday celebration! Sangrias all round!

FFichiban: My mum is weird. -__- That is all I had a list of a few spanish cuisine choices, but ended up going here due to its location, ease of parking, and some rave reviews from friends.

Im JEALOUS!! was suppose to go here for a friends birthday, too many people were coming and we ended up a another spanish restaurant, people pulled out at the last minute so we COULD OF came here instead and my friends rave about this place, and im sure its better than the one we went too which had a 10% service charge

i’ve always wondered what this place was like. for a minute there i thought you’d been to the spanish one overseas hehe. some of the dishes looks a little on the pricey side compared to others around town but the quality looks pretty good. the Paella sounds like a hit. i’ll have to remember this one. did you know there’s an El Bulli in Randwick, The Spot, as well. not sure if it’s the same owners as well?

The mushrooms stuffed with cheese sound like a lucky mistake too me – you can’t have too many mushroom dishes I love the wooden interior too.
