I have fond memories of our dishes at Sepia - good to see enough change in the lineup of dishes that I'd consider going back soon, but on the flipside the favourites we had are still there too. I really liked the eel and the tuna tatare - and of course the elements of chocolate. Looks like they offer more petit fours now too.

@chocsuze : chocolate crackling, that could be a new product range for your company!

@mr.taste : Degustation costs a bit, but it's worth it once in a while. I go to a handful per year, not too often ;)

@Helen : Yes we ordered a few more, but only shared the elements of chocolate.Also some come with the petit fours.

@Yas : The mushroom infusion is poured over the lamb just before serving, or drink it like I did lol

@Christie : Can't agree with you more !

@Caitlin : It's worth a trip indeed. In fact there are quite a few new restaurants in Sydney!

@Lex : I'd come back again! especially when they open on Saturday would be interesting to see how the menu changes.

@Belle : Really ? Thanks! The pics are courtesy to Squishie's new camera, Nikon D700. I also read about how Sepia is starting a new trend of restaurants, I love the concept of a bar and restaurant which feels like you step into a different environment.

@Shez : It wasn't until I looked at the pics did I noticed how crazy the detail the food was, totally agree.

@Steph : Well your not the only one a little excited!

@Betty : It's always good when a restaurant takes care with it's presentation of food.

@Reemski : We should go just for desserts one day.

@Tim Elwin : Give it a go mate, we can only drool so much on the screen.

@Amanda : Oh that's a shame, I wonder what their opening night would of been like.

@Jacq : Everything was delicious, but it's always good for the desserts to be good as everything else too!

@Anita : Seems like everyone is a big fan of the desserts :)

@Simon : Thank the D700 for the great pics.

@Moya : Not enough I say, there is always room for dessert.

@Trisha : Sure was. but that is the beauty of a degustation you can try a bit of everything!

@K : I'm on the lookout for ovaltines, I I want them!

@FFichiban : The bubbles were cool, was fun popping them .. and of course eating them.

@Suzie : Cheers, atleast someone else asgrees with me. When you went, did the degustation change ?

Great review - we have eaten there twice and had the degustation menu as well. I like your early call of a hat. I would raise it to two.

Everything is so delectable! Where do I begin? For starters, I do agree that that entree has so much happening in there I honestly didn't know where to start! And then the mushroom infusion caught my eye, the venison, the marron tail, the pre-dessert (it's such a visually appealing dish!), the olive oil sponge, the chocolate emulsion & the countless chocolates and petit fours! This must've been a truly amazing dining experience!

OMG, I can just read the words and look at the photos and imagine I am there already! How many sweet treats does a restaurant need to provide before it's too many? Obviously not enough!
