I have to agree with the 5 out of 5. I found your site whilst looking for the recipe of what they do in Berlin to get the red cabbage so delicious, I have a feeling it gets some kind of salt and vinegar treatment, if anyone knows how they get it so good can they tell us… seriously the best kebabs i’ve ever had were in Germany.

Miss Honey: LOL Oh my goodness, you’re right! The doners are very messy – I always seem to forget that somehow. And the currywurst is great after a night out… or when your cousin has been out and you ask him to bring home some because _someone_ was too lazy to go drinking *ahem* XD hehe

The doner! Yep we met numerous times during my time in Europe, I agree, the kebabs we're used to here aren't nearly as common over there. Very tasty! Also less messy lol. On currywurst in Sydney, a couple of points. There’s a German sausage guy at the Marrickville markets on Sundays who makes currywurst, and it’s pretty accurate. Second thing: if you want good bratwurst, it’s hard to beat Black Forest Smokehouse, also in Marrickville. Their wurst are _AWESOME_.
