Karen : Indeed, the flash did wonders! lili : Yep, first time for me and your right they were just doing the finishing touches. I didn't know that about the chopping boards, makes sense though! David : He can feed us, not sure how good his football is. Helen : lol not old, just 'seasoned'. Ah the chocolate marquis, I can still taste it. Y : Yes I did see it, hilarious! Go the Hammers, we are fighting for a place in Europe ... who would of thought ? FFichiban : lol damn that cloud, so annoying. Shez : *sigh* , 2 days ? it was worth it though. I hope she makes it again. Belle : The presentation was top notch, food was great considering how many chef's were involved the consistency was good. Simon : Thanks, loved your pics too. Great post! I’ve commented on a few other blogs about this (and I am -so- jealous) but I just realised that this may have been the first time for some people to be in a professional kitchen where work was going on, right? It looks like it was just finishing and plating, and that the food for the dinner was being prepared in a different section/kitchen, but that really is interesting and exciting for those interested in food. What a great opportunity!
And yes, those a chopping boards, different colours for different produce (though that rule is rarely followed).
