Betty: the sushi platters are great party ideas. There's a huge variety. The bigger platter is better...!

Helen: mmm the tamago is my friend's favourite! The stamp is a mystery!

We've had friends bring the sushi platter along to picnics which has always been a bit hit. I was always fascinated with the logo-stamped tamago :) I want a branding stamp with my logo/name on it!

kang: The city one and the Chatswood one (that I went to) are very similar and run by the same people. Whenever I crave sushi, I go and get one of these platters :P

lili - pikeletandpie: They do freshly make the platters... so i think the less time you give them, the fresher they will be :P

shez: They can finish in less than an hour! it's awesome cos then I don't have to wait in line either :P

Y: I understand what you mean by the freshness of Makoto. Its really a hit and miss but in my opinion, the platters are quite worth what you pay for.

Arwen from Hoglet K: there's always a huge line because I think this is one of the best sushi trains in Sydney. But this doesn't mean that it's the best place for sushi itself though!

billy@ATFT: ohhh Zushi! I must give it a go!

V: let's go on a date. I feel like sushi. hahaha!

K: It's a great dinner idea! Saves the waiting and you can eat it in the comfort of your own home!

FFichiban: I realised the quality has changed quite a bit but when you crave something, you don't care about the price!

smileona: The platter probably feeds around 3-4 people... depending on how much each person can eat! mmm nomnomnom

I am with Y, I've been to Makoto many times, and their food is really average, and lack of varieties. I think I prefer Zushi opposite capitol.

I was always amazed at the queue out the door of this place when I walked past. Sounds like their sushi really is worth the wait.

Call me crazy, but I've walked past Makoto in Chatswood many times and am always baffled by their popularity. I ate there once a long while ago, and wasn't really impressed by what I had. Especially disliked the coloured sprinkly things they decorated their sushi with. Maybe they've done away with those, because the sushi platter you got actually looks alright.

I wish I lived near a sushi place (or a Masuya outlet), I would love to eat sushi at home, but I find it doesn't travel well at all (especially on the bus :)). No matter, I will just have to go and eat in. Looks so fresh and delicious!

Oh and i think i also remembered having some wagyu roll thing at makoto too... ok im inaudible and craving sushi now :D
