Makoto is still one of those places that I have always mean to go to but so fr haven’t. The platters look fantastic and a great idea for a dinner party when you are too busy doing other things!

We’ve had friends bring the sushi platter along to picnics which has always been a bit hit. I was always fascinated with the logo-stamped tamago I want a branding stamp with my logo/name on it!

kang: The city one and the Chatswood one (that I went to) are very similar and run by the same people. Whenever I crave sushi, I go and get one of these platters

lili – pikeletandpie: They do freshly make the platters… so i think the less time you give them, the fresher they will be

shez: They can finish in less than an hour! it’s awesome cos then I don’t have to wait in line either

Y: I understand what you mean by the freshness of Makoto. Its really a hit and miss but in my opinion, the platters are quite worth what you pay for.

Arwen from Hoglet K: there’s always a huge line because I think this is one of the best sushi trains in Sydney. But this doesn’t mean that it’s the best place for sushi itself though!

FFichiban: I realised the quality has changed quite a bit but when you crave something, you don’t care about the price!

When Makoto first came out it was really really good and I used to frequent quite often but then they changed their chefs and increased prices and now its a bit too exxy for what u are getting and not as good Masuya and Musashi are still good imo though.
