Ohmygoodness! Mochi overload! I just discovered your blog and love it already! Had the biggest craving for mochi’s the other day after reminiscing about ‘Mochi Creams’ chain in Tokyo. Must go and visit this place. Nice work and keep bloggin! x

sydneyguyrojoe : On George St, before KFC on the corner there should a little entry laneway between a shoe store and a cafe. Go in there and then take the escalators down. Shu Shin Bou should be at the right once you get off the escalators.

Lorraine : I’d give the following a go ;

- Dorayaki (Hokkaido flavour)
- Choc mochi truffle
- Daifuki vanilla chestnut
- Brown sugar Mochi black sesame
- Smiss maki’s

And I can’t think of another one as some of them are quite similar!

If it’s where I think it is, sydneyguyrojoe, you gotta go inside the Lumere building (well, more like an arcade area because there are more shops around) and take the escalator downstairs… it’s right next to Maxim supermarket, where they specialise in selling Jap food stuffs.

chocolatesuze : Thanks! I tried a bit of everything, but they keep pretty good in the freezer if you can’t finish them all.

flapflap : Fortunately, I had to give these as gifts … sharing is caring

Miss Honey : I hope my thoughts come handy, but take them with a grain of salt and try it our yourself!

Arwen : It’s possibly gluten free, but best to ask them first.

Belle : These mochi’s were very photogenic indeed!

Reemski : I love green tea ice cream! There is a simple but good one at Sushi Suma .. I love the corn flakes of all things haha.

FFichiban : OD on mochi indeed. I think it’s put me off mochi for a while, but it was worth it! and yeah it seems the Taiwanese know how to churn out decent franchises!

Jane : Thanks for the tip, it did taste like creme puff too.

Pearl : Thanks for dropping by! And yes, lots of Taiwanese players here now. I’ll drop by your blog regularly too!

K : Yeah we bought everything, I think. There were even a few things we wanted which we were not available. They also mentioned they would get new stuff in December, maybe I can add to this post.

Y : The truffles look great and taste pretty interesting too, worth a try!

Lorraine : Cheers! Yeah I walked out with 4 bags and the boss must have been happy. All up I think it cost me $75 :/
