Zaaffran offers excellent service and food and has mid range prices... if you enjoy your food you won't even question the prices. I last ate their during the last Sydney Gift Fair and it was booked out for three nights so definately make a booking. There are also some excellent (and cheaper) restaurants located at the back of the Darling Harbour Ibis and Novotel Hotels in Pyrmont Street

Lorraine E : This place reminds me of Beluga in Surry Hills, unconventional ingredients with an Indian influence. It works well, to an extent!

Frank : Indeed, pistachio is always good :)

Arwen : I have tried Indian/Fijian in Liverpool. They have good Dosa there but the name of the place escapes me at present. Might be time for a return trip to spread the good word about it.

Belle : Indeed, the place down the road is always good as the prices are also a bit easier on the wallet! However, I am quite envious of you being down the road from Adriano!

Those milk dumplings look interesting. And yeah, it's always good to know that the place down the road does it just as well when you want something quick and tasty.

Very pretty presentation and the flavours sound creative too. Thanks for the reminder about Harris Park, I've been meaning to get back there. I usually got to Homebush, which is mainly Sri Lankan. Have you tried any Indian Fijian at Liverpool?

I was quite upset that the worlds smallest dessert wasn't soooo small?

Lack of garnish and priceline looking bowl was overlooked once the ice cream hit my tounge, DELISH!

The food definitely looks a cut above regular Indian. I don't think I've ever seen Lobster or truffle butter in an Indian restaurant before!

That scoop of ice cream looks so sad alone :(

Reemski : Agreed! $2.90 for something I can finish in one shot, albeit a brain freeze or two.

Sorry, but serving a single scoop of icecream in a high end restaurant with no garnish? That's just cheap!
