@Tina : With few options in the area, I think it’s ok. I don’t think there is a function room but there seems to be plenty of room. There is also Temasek in Parra as well.

Betty: I agree with Sydneyguyrojoe. Unfortunately this restaurant is a result of bad location happening to good food. The quality of the food combined with the price really does make this place worth while.

Luke- Thanks for popping by, hope to see you here again =D

Jen- I think the King Prawn curry and the Hainan chicken was the outstanding dishes of the night. Curry was very rich and aromatic, goes well with bread, rice or roti. LOL Yay to Max Brenner.

Chocolatesuze- The quality of some of the dishes were lacking, however the price and the dishes that they were good at made up for it. Have you had the Lindt waffles? YUM!

Sydneyguyrojoe- Parking is not bad because it’s pretty quiet around that area. However, we did get there pretty early. LOL, chocolate and women goes hand in hand. You can’t have one without the other.

Miss Honey- Definitely agree with the standard of the food compared to Malaysia. If you want authenticity, you have to go to KL.

MyBugLife- Thanks for the compliment =) I lurve Hainanese chicken rice as well. Whenever I am in Malaysia, I can always count on Jalan Alor in KL for my char kway teow, grilled chicken wings and BBQ seafood. Droooling.

Your food photos are of very good quality…:) I love Hainanese chicken rice and it’s a staple dish in my home..I am Msian Chinese of Hainanese descent. Thanks for sharing your experince of Msian food. For a taste of the real M’sia..hop over to KL!!

How convenien that a chocolate fix is around the corner! I’m always keen to hear about Malaysian restaurants, even at Mamak, it really doesn’t compare with the real stuff back in KL lol, maybe there’s something in the water??

I agree with you re suspicious roti but the chicken does look tender and juicy:)

OH what a hidden place this KL malaysian restaurant is and its a bit inconvient to get parking around there unless you want to pay!!

Being Malaysian chinese, the food is disappointing, i expected more from my satay chicken and char keow taoy.

JEn commment on Sam Satay at the night markets, how funny because i had somewhere there and that was disappointing too, the sauce at least was thick but the chicken didnt have much flavour

One last comment, WOMAN and MAx Brenner haha just cant resist chocolate can you, even though i find the place a rip off………….

How funny, i just read the above comment. I used to lurk around OCAU forums as well! Anyway, that roti does look like the pre-packaged kind indeed -similar to what I had at Sam Satay’s stall at the Night Noodle Markets. The king prawn curry looks fantastic! Mmmm….. love the Max Brenner eye candy just before lunch time…. hehe…

Stumbled onto here from the OCAU forums via a link. I had no interest at all, and yet here I am finishing reading one of your reviews…

It really drew me in! Great work on the site, nice layout, easy to follow, simple yet informative. And the shots of the food are delightful!
