Experiments with what was left in the fridge
I’m not a particularly good cook, I prefer letting other people do the work and blogging about the outcome of their efforts. I try to be objective if there is criticism because I know I probably couldn’t do any better!
A while ago we had bits and pieces left in the fridge. To name a few :
- cooked rice
- BBQ meats from the night before
- veges from the night before
So we decided to experiment and Linda and myself whipped up a few things for an unhealthy brunch. For the record, pastries and coleslaw were made by Linda and the steak/fried rice and the burger was by me. It’s nothing ground breaking so be kind with the comments. To be honest I just wanted to show off the photos
Fish burger with salad and home made tartar sauce
- mayo 200 gm
- gherkins 50 gm
- lemon juice 2 tbl
- spanish onion half diced thinly
- 8 capers
- spring onion
- salt pepper
Pork mince , prawn and Spanish onion / Spinach and Ricotta cheese pastries
Coleslaw
